Dr. György Tamás Farkas graduated from Szerb Antal Secondary Grammar School of Budapest in 2009 with excellent results.
Subsequently, he was admitted to the state-funded, full-time, lawyer degree programme of the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of The Reformed Church in Hungary.
During the academic years, he actively participated in the forming of student public life, during which he was President of the Student Government in 2012, and was a demonstrator of the Constitutional Law Department between 2012 and 2014 and also a national finalist for several law-settling and pleading competitions.
He graduated Summa cum laude 2014.
In the same year, he was admitted to the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University, as PhD student where he gained his final pre-degree certificate in 2017.
Since 2016 he has been President of the PhD Student Government of Károli Gáspár University.
After graduating from a law degree, since 2014, he has been working as a legal advisor to the Independent Police Complaints Board.
In addition, he is a lecturer at the Constitutional Law Department of the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University teaching Constitutional Law, International Law, Introduction to Law and Methodology of Research.
From 2015 he is carrying out research tasks at the Institute for Research and Development on State and Governance of the National University of Public Service.
In 2016, he was awarded the Nation's Young Talent Scholarship commissioned by the Ministry of Human Capacities.
